4.10 Safety Integrated commissioning
Control and status signals of SLP
Selecting "SLP" and switching over between the position ranges is performed via an F-DI or
a PROFIsafe control bit. The SLP selection can be checked via parameter r9720.6. The
selected position range can be checked via parameter r9720.19. Status bit r9722.6 is set
when SLP is active. The active position range is displayed by r9722.19. Maintaining the
upper or lower active SLP limit can be checked using r9722.30 and r9722.31.
Example:
Configuring SLP
1. Specify the limit values of position range 1 in the P
fields.
2. Select the stop response for position range 1 in the "Selection" (p9562[0]) drop-down list.
3. Click the

4. Specify the limit values of position range 2 in the P
fields.
5. Select the stop response for position range 2 in the "Selection" (p9562[1]) drop-down list.
6. Click the
Make the required configuration.
7. Enter a suitable value in mm in the "Tolerance for actual value comparison" (p9544) field.
8. Click "Save project" in the toolbar to save the changes in the project.
