Commissioning

7.1

Requirements

Before commissioning starts, the system components must be installed and wired up.
Required:
● A programmable controller, e.g. SIMATIC S7 CPU or SIMOTION with
PROFINET/PROFIBUS interface
● A SIPLUS HCS4200 heating controller consisting of the components:
– Rack
– Central Interface Module (CIM)
– At least one Power Output Module (POM)
7.2 Commissioning
Procedure
1. Turn on the 24 V DC power supply.
2. Switch on the AC power supply.
The CIM and POM components of the heating control system start up.
3. Observe the operating state indicators (see Chapter Process and system messages,
error handling (Page 179)).
The heating controller is in operation.
