8.3 Securing Cable Trays

Prerequisites
Cable tray supports have been installed.
Preparations
Tools: torque wrench, Phillips screwdriver, and step ladder
Materials: cable tray, M8x80 bolt
Documents: external cable tray support layout diagram, external cable tray installation effect
diagram
Skill requirement: common technician
Procedure
Step 1 Place a cable tray on supports based on the external cable tray installation effect diagram.
When you place a cable tray on supports, ensure that both ends of the cable tray are on the
supports.
Step 2 Adjust the cable trays, and secure them to the cable tray supports using bolts.
