9.2.1.3 Installing Batteries for the Fire Alarm Control Panel (Standard)

Prerequisites
The container has been installed.
Preparations
Tools: Phillips screwdriver
Materials: fire alarm control panel batteries
Documents: fire extinguishing device installation position diagram (standard)
Skill requirement: common technician
Procedure
Step 1 Switch off the standby power supply to the fire alarm control panel.
Step 2 Open the door of the fire control box, and install batteries in the reserved position.
Step 3 Connect the batteries using the reserved power cables.
Distinguish the positive and negative battery terminals when connecting battery cables.

Step 4 Tighten the fixing plate using a Phillips screwdriver.
