Ethernet communications to the VxWorks part are not possible
Issue a ping from the PC to the product, and confirm the response.
If abnormal ping response
Check item
Is the Ethernet cable wired correctly?
Is the Ethernet cable broken?
Are the PC and product IP address segments different?
On the connected LAN, are there any duplicate IP addresses with the product
and PCs?
Has the product been replaced?
Is the network under high load?
Is the specified IP address correct?
In the following settings, is access from the PC being blocked?
• [Basic Parameter]  [External Device Cooperate Applicable Settings] 
[Security Settings]  [IP Filter Settings]
If normal ping response
An error may have occurred with communications of applications in use. This section shows troubleshooting of applications
compatible with this product.
■If MI Configurator cannot connect
Check item
Is the connection destination of MI Configurator is set to a different route?
Is an Ethernet cable connected to the Ethernet port (CH1)?
In the following settings, is access from the PC being blocked?

[Security Settings]  [IP Filter Settings]
■If CW Workbench 4 cannot connect
Check item
Is an Ethernet cable connected to the Ethernet port (CH1)?
"Target Server Options" of CW Workbench 4 is not set properly.
In the following settings, is access from the PC being blocked?

Appendix 1 Troubleshooting by Symptom
Corrective action
Correctly wire the Ethernet cable.
Replace the Ethernet cable.
• Change the PC and product IP addresses to the same segments.
• If through a LAN on a different segment via a gateway, consult with the
connected LAN network administrator.
Consult with the administrator of the connected LAN, and ensure that there
are no duplicated IP addresses.
Reset all terminals connected to the network.
• Consult with the administrator of the connected LAN and disconnect
devices connected by Ethernet that may cause a high load.
• Change the connection of the personal computer and this product to a
different network.
Specify the correct IP address.
In the IP filter settings, unblock access from the PC.
Corrective action
Change the connection destination setting of MI Configurator to the correct
route.
Change the connection destination of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port
(CH1), and set so that Ping provides a normal response.
In the IP filter settings, unblock access from the PC.
Corrective action
Change the connection destination of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port
(CH1), and set so that Ping provides a normal response.
Set "Target Server Options" of CW Workbench 4 properly.
In the IP filter settings, unblock access from the PC.
