Active Interface Modules, liquid-cooled
3.4.1
Description
Liquid-cooled Active Interface Modules are used in conjunction with liquid-cooled Active Line
Modules in chassis format. The liquid-cooled Active Interface Modules contain a Clean
Power Filter with basic RI suppression, the pre-charging circuit for the Active Line Module,
the line voltage sensing circuit and monitoring sensors.
The bypass contactor must be provided separately for frame size JIL.
The vast majority of line harmonics are suppressed by the Clean Power Filter.
The liquid-cooled Active Interface Module contains:
● Clean Power Filter
● Filter reactor
● Pre-charging circuit
● Line voltage sensing module VSM10
The liquid-cooled Active Interface Modules comprise the following components:
● Filter reactor
● Filter module
● Associated connection elements (pressure hose, cable, hose connections)
