Cooling circuit for aluminum heat sinks

To ensure an optimum heat sink service life, please note the following specifications for the
aluminum heat sinks (Active Interface Module JIL, Basic Line Modules FBL and GBL, Active
Line Modules HXL and JXL, Motor Modules HXL and JXL):
● Closed cooling circuit made of stainless steel or ABS which transfers heat to a cooling
system via a water-to-water heat exchanger.
● Cooling circuit pipes, fittings made of stainless steel (Nirosta) or steel (ST37) with
antifreeze in the coolant.

Dirt traps (strainers), at least one pressure measuring point and a service inspection window
are important.
