Vivid i n Software Upgrade from Version BT06 to BT09
NOTE:
The software upgrade procedure described below is applicable only to Vivid i n systems with serial
number 3282, and above - with software level 6.1.1 Build110, and above.
If the Vivid i n system is currently running a software version lower than 6.1.1 Build110, do not perform
this procedure. In this event, perform the software upgrade procedure to the level described in
FMI 76072.
NOTE:
The PMC software is update automatically with the system upgrade, if required.
NOTE:
If you are upgrading the system software from version 6.x.x to version 9.x.x, it may be necessary to
contact your local OTR department to receive an appropriate software password. Make sure you specify
the system serial number located on the base of the Vivid i n unit.
When performing this procedure, backup of the archive is not necessary as this upgrade does not
tamper with or affect the patient archive (database). However, it recommended that the Backup
procedure is performed on regular basis.
NOTE:
The Vivid i n BT06 to BT09 upgrade software can only be purchased (through the Sales Dept)
by the customer, using this ordering number: H45561AY.
NOTE:
Following the upgrade of software from BT06 software to BT09, an Application Specialist visit
is recommended.
Until an Application Specialist has visited the site, it is recommended to use only the factory
default presets.
