Vivid i n Software Upgrade (BT06 to BT09) Procedure

Step
1 Perform a complete shutdown of the system
2 Eject the battery and remove all peripherals currently
connected to the system, with the following exceptions:
Make sure no peripherals are connected to the USB
connectors except the DVD.
3 If not already connected, connect the DVD\CD-RW to the
USB port at the rear of the system and connect power to
the DVD\CD-RW drive.
4 Press the <Eject> button of the DVD\CD-RW drive and
remove any media if present.
5 Insert the DVD containing the full software version (P/
N R2423022) into the DVD-RW drive and close the tray.
Press the <Eject> button again.
6 Hold down the <ON/OFF> button for three seconds.
7 Select option 1.

Expected Result
The DVD\CD-RW drive tray ejects.
The DVD\CD-RW drive tray will load the software.
The system powers ON and when system boot-up from the DVD is complete, the
following message is displayed prompting you to select the required option:
Wait until the following message is displayed, prompting you to select the
required option:
The user is prompted for a password.
