4.5. PEC Recognition Camera Unit Change

4.5.1. Removal Procedure for the PEC Recognition Camera Unit

(After the change, perform the teaching operations for the PEC recognition camera related
items.)
(1) Shut down the machine and turn off the power breaker.
(2) Loosen the bolt on the side surface of the block where the PEC recognition camera has
been mounted.
(3) Remove the PEC recognition camera from the main body.

4.5.2. Attachment Procedure for the PEC Recognition Camera Unit

When the block is pressed, make sure that there
is no clearance between the head base unit and
the side surface of the camera.
Loosen the bolt used to fix the PEC recognition
camera to the set block.
Disconnect the cable connecting to the camera unit.
Remove the camera unit from the main body.

Service Information
(1) Attach the PEC recognition camera
onto the set block.
After attaching, tighten the setscrew
lightly.
* Do not tighten it completely.
Position adjustment is required first.
Attach the camera carefully in the
correct direction.
(2) Adjust the head base end surface and
the camera angles so that they are
parallel to each other. After
adjustment, tighten the setscrew
completely.
* Put the set-square on the head base
end surface and adjust the angle of
the camera to 90 degrees.
(3) After adjustment, connect the camera
cable and bind the remaining section
using cable ties.
