(4)-3 Machine Software Installation Selection
The following window is displayed at the time of the machine software
installation program startup when the OS recovery operation is performed.
[New SETUP] is selected when the machine software is newly installed from
CD-ROM. When selected, the connection waiting status window appears
described in Step (4)-1.
[Recovery SETUP] is selected when the machine software is to be installation
before the recovery. When this is selected, CD-RM connection is not required.
When selected, the machine software installation confirmation dialog window in
Step (4)-4, appears.
* When the Drive D formatting is performed in the OS recovery operation, the
setup data before the OS recovery is deleted. Therefore, this window is not
displayed.
(4)-4 Machine Software Installation Confirmation Dialog
When the copy processing is selected in Step (4)-2 or the [Recovery SETUP]
button is selected in Step (4)-3, the following window appears.
When the [SETUP] button is selected, the machine software installation is
started up.
When the [CANCEL] button is selected, the window described in Step (4)-1 is
returned.
After the installation, select the [Shutdown] button to close Windows.
After the machine restart-up, the machine software is started up. After the
machine software is started up, when the re-start-up is requested due to the
machine configuration, re-start the machine.
