Choosing the Output Format for Images

Note: Use the system presets to specify the data captured for clips.
Use the system presets to choose one of the following output formats for
printed and stored images:
Secondary Capture – Includes any displayed graphical user interface
elements, such as the Parameter menu, and stores them within the
image.
Ultrasound image, without overlays – Omits any displayed graphical user
interface elements. Stores graphics and image text (such as
annotations) within the image.
Ultrasound image, with overlays – Omits any displayed graphical user
interface elements. Stores graphics and image text (such as
annotations) as an overlay separate from the image, allowing you to
enable or disable their display during review (using the Filming screen
or Review task card).
Note: Images saved in the ultrasound image output format (with or without overlays) can
be recalled for measurements after the examination ends.
To choose an output format for images:
1. Press the Presets key located on the keyboard, or select the Presets
shortcut button at the bottom of the screen.
2. Select the Print/Store menu on the left of the screen.
The system displays the Print/Store menu. At the bottom of the
screen, the system displays two tabs: Configure Store and
Configure Printers.
3. Select the Configure Store tab and then complete the configuration
indicated below.
To choose this image
format:
Secondary capture
Ultrasound image,
without overlays
Ultrasound image,
with overlays
4. Select the Save button to save your settings.
