D
The D control is a multi-function control.
Use the system presets to select the default action of the D control (cursor
on/off) and to configure the system to initiate Cursor Audio Mode
whenever the D control is pressed. When Cursor Audio Mode is active,
you can audibly interrogate vessels with Doppler in 2D-mode before
displaying the Doppler spectrum.
Cursor Off – Pressing the D control activates Doppler and displays the
Image task card on the image screen with the Doppler Parameter menu.
The system displays the Doppler spectrum and the 2D image according to
the format selected in the Presets menu. Pressing the D control again exits
Doppler.
Cursor On – Pressing the D control displays the Image task card on the
image screen with the Doppler Parameter menu and a Doppler cursor for
positioning in the 2D image; pressing the control a second time activates
Doppler and displays the Doppler spectrum and the 2D image according to
the format selected in the Presets menu. Pressing the D control again exits
Doppler.
Rotating the D control clockwise increases the Doppler gain; rotating the
control counterclockwise decreases the gain. The gain value displays on the
Doppler Parameter menu next to the Doppler status icon.
Rotating the D secondary mode control (outer ring) selects Doppler modes
for future use and reselects pulsed wave Doppler. The selection is displayed
on the Doppler Parameter menu next to the Doppler status icon.
Rotating the D secondary mode control (outer ring) adjusts the flow angle.
During 3-Scape imaging and fourSight 4D imaging, rotating the D control
rotates all quadrants.
C
The C control is a multi-function control.
Pressing the C control activates and deactivates Color and displays the
Image task card with the Color Parameter menu.
Rotating the C control clockwise increases the Color gain; rotating the
control counterclockwise decreases the gain.
Rotating the C secondary mode control (outer ring) selects either Color or
Power modes.
The selection is displayed on the Color and Power Parameter menu next to
the Color status icon:
VEL: Color mode
PWR: Power mode
During 3-Scape imaging and fourSight 4D imaging, rotating the C control
rotates all quadrants.
