The NEXT key cycles through the functions of the tool currently under
control of the trackball. For example, during Doppler, the active mode tool is
D Gate. Pressing the NEXT key toggles the gate positioning with the gate
steering functions. The function of the NEXT key is dependent on the active
task card.
Active Task Card Function Description
Image Cycles through the currently active mode tool functions.
For example, during Color, the NEXT key cycles through
the Color ROI positioning, sizing, and steering functions
(steering is available only for linear transducers).
The Next icon
indicates the function under control of the trackball.
When the trackball is not assigned to a function (free
cursor), the NEXT key displays the Calcs task card.
During fourSight imaging acquisition, cycles through the
currently active tool functions and anchors polygon
endpoints.
During review of volumes acquired using fourSight (when
there is not a selected quadrant), the NEXT key displays
the Calcs task card for measurements.
Calcs Toggles the first endpoint (marker) of the active set of
calipers with the second endpoint (marker) of the active
set of calipers. If a measurement has more than two
measurement markers, then the NEXT key cycles
through the markers.
Review No action.
Compose During SieScape Panoramic Imaging, toggles the rotate
function with the pan function.
During 3-Scape imaging or fourSight imaging, cycles
through the currently active tool functions and anchors
polygon endpoints.
During review of volumes acquired using 3-Scape with
the Auto Sweep method (when there is not a selected
quadrant), the NEXT key displays the Calcs task card for
measurements.
