Printing and Storing Images

You can print and store images during an examination (active study). Use
the system presets to assign print and/or store functionality to each
PRINT/STORE key. Also use the system presets to select printing options
(such as film size) and output format for printed and stored images (such
as the screen capture format).
After you press a PRINT/STORE key, the system briefly displays a counter
representing the PRINT/STORE key on the lower right of the screen.
The counter indicates the number of times the related PRINT/STORE key
was pressed during the current study. A counter is assigned to each
PRINT/STORE key.
To print an image during an active study:
Press the PRINT/STORE key assigned to the printing function.
The system sends a request to the printer that is configured for the type
of image printed. The image is also stored to the local database.
Note: Images printed (that are not also stored) during the active study are not
displayed in the Review task card.
To store an image during an active study:
Press the PRINT/STORE key assigned to the storing function.
The system stores the image to the local database.

Images in the Review Task Card

You can review stored images using the Review task card. All images for
the current study, including images stored in previous examinations within
the study folder, are displayed on the Review task card. For example, if you
restart a completed study (by re-registering a patient), the system displays
images on the Review task card from all previous examinations within the
study folder in addition to images stored during the current examination.

Storing and Viewing Clips

Clips are prospective "video" captures of displayed images.
You can store clips to the system's hard disk. During acquisition, you can
determine the length of the clip. You can also view clips and print or store
images from clips.
