Error or fault pattern
FAULT 7
Low Level (LL) sensor becomes
free too quickly during discharge
FAULT 8
Oil quantity in the measuring
chamber permanently too high
120 | 124
Possible cause
1. Soiled FRC sensors
2. Excessively high compressed air
operating pressure
3. SOLENOID
VALVES Service-Unit
malfunction (e.g., due to
contaminated compressed air)
4. Piston assembly defective
1. Filter cartridges can no longer
absorb oil
2. Very high quantity of oil
constantly in the measuring
chamber due to a large oil
inflow (e.g., oil leaking)
Installation and operation manual
Measure
Clean the FRC sensors (see section
"10.3.5 Cleaning" on page 98)
Select correct pressure range (see
section "4. Technical data" on
page 32)
Remove SOLENOID
VALVES Service-Unit and check
whether it is working properly (see
section "10.3.3 Replacing solenoid
valves" on page 90)
Remove PISTON Service-Unit
and check whether it is working
properly (see section "10.3.4
Replacing the piston" on
page 94)
Replacing filter cartridges (see
section "10.3.2 Replacing filter
cartridges" on page 84)
Check oil content in inlet
