The major features of the ChromasterUltra R
detector are as follows:
(1)
High Transmittance Flow Cell Based on Total Reflection
In order to achieve both of high transmittance of light and
small cell volume enough to realize peak resolution for
UHPLC applications, silica glass capillary flow cell is
employed. The incident light is reflected on the border
between the wall of silica glass capillary and outer air
without loss because of total reflection like an optical fiber.
So it can keep the light intensity passing through the
narrow flow path.

Thermostated Light source unit
Light source unit is cooled by Peltier temperature control in
order to realize optimum temperature of D
independent of the environment temperature.
(3)
High Speed Data Sampling Rate
Data sampling rate is 10 msec enough to cover various
UHPLC applications.
(4)
Easy to Checking the Wavelength Accuracy
Hg lamp for checking the wavelength accuracy of the
optical system is equipped in the instrument. Wavelength
check is able to executed automatically without any extra
preparation or setting.
(5)
Easy Maintenance
All of the periodic replacement parts are accessible from
the front panel of the instrument.
