Concerning the Storage of the Flow cell after use
When the flow cell is not used, keep its flow path filled with
distilled water or alcohol.
When the flow cell is disconnect from the flow path of
UHPLC system, connect the loop tube to the outlet of the
flow cell and fill the flow path with distilled water or alcohol
and connect the other end of the loop tube to the inlet of
the flow cell. If the flow cell is not used for a long time
(more than 1 month), fill the flow path of the flow cell with
isopropanol.
NOTICE: Pay attention to the following points when handling
the flow cell.
Do not dry the flow line of the flow cell while the flow
cell is not used.
Do not deliver the air bubble beyond the volume of
the flow cell into that.
If the flow line is dried up, it may take long time to
stabilize the baseline drift when the flow cell is used
the next time, or be impossible to analyze due to
unstable baseline.
When the flow cell is disconnect from the flow line of
UHPLC system, connect the loop tube to the outlet of
the flow cell, and fill the flow line with alcohol or
distilled water. Then connect the other end of the loop
tube to the inlet of the flow cell.
