6.2 Error Messages
Error Message
The lamp energy of the
ChromasterUltra Rs 6430
is unusually low. The slit may
not be functioning correctly.
Close the Instrument of CDS,
and Restart after checking the
optical path of flow cell.
The lamp energy of the
ChromasterUltra Rs 6430
is unusually low. The shutter
may not be functioning
correctly. Close the
Instrument of CDS, and
Restart after checking the
optical path of flow cell.
A "LAMP OFF BY LEAKAGE"
message was received from
the ChromasterUltra Rs 6430
. Check the Unit Status in
DAD
the control panel.
A "LAMP OFF BY EXTERNAL
ERROR" message was
received from the
ChromasterUltra Rs 6430
. Check the Unit Status in
DAD
the control panel.
ChromasterUltra Rs 6430
cannot be found. Check
power switch of unit and cable
connection, close CDS, restart
PC and re-connect with unit.
ChromasterUltra Rs 6430
is initializing.
A "LAMP OFF BY FAN
ERROR" message was
received from the
ChromasterUltra Rs 6430
. Reconnect after ending
DAD
CDS, and reactivating the unit
and PC.
A "ABNORMAL
TEMPEREATURE
(LAMPHOUSE)" message
was received from the
ChromasterUltra Rs 6430
. Close CDS, restart PC
DAD
and re-connect with unit.

cell.

Remedy
(1) Eliminate bubbles.
(2) Clean the flow cell and
flow path.
(3) Turn on the module power
supply again. If this error
recurs, contact the
nearest maintenance
service company
authorized by Hitachi
High-Technologies.

Eliminate the cause of liquid
leakage and wipe off leaked
liquid completely.

the module where this error
has occurred.
Confirm that DAD power
supply is turned on and the e-
Line cable is connected.
Wait until DAD initialization is
completed.
After confirming that there are
no obstacles to the cooling
fan, turn on the module power
supply again. If the cooling fan
is still inactive, contact the
nearest maintenance service
company authorized by
Hitachi High-Technologies.
Turn on the module power
supply again. If this error
recurs, contact the nearest
maintenance service company
authorized by Hitachi High-
Technologies.
