Preparing to Reload Software

If the system experiences a disaster that corrupts the software on an
Express5800/320Ma system, reload the software. The reload procedure replaces all
Express5800/320Ma software files. It does not replace any operating system files.
Therefore, note the following:
Perform the reload procedure only if Express5800/320Ma software is corrupted.
To replace the operating system, or if your disks have lost Master Boot Record or
partition information, perform the IPL procedure, which
Express5800/320Ma System Software"
Make sure Windows Server 2003 is running properly.
Make sure that the boot partition on the system disk is at least 6144 MB.

Performing the Reload Procedure

N O T E
Before proceeding, check the information in the Release
Notes: Express5800/320Ma on the Express5800/320Ma
ExpressBuilder CD (2 of 2) shipped with your system for
updated information about the reload procedure.
N O T E
The reload procedure deletes previous versions of the
files before installing the new ones. In these instances, the
new files require approximately the same amount of disk
space as the previous files.
