processing to the CPU enclosure whose firmware you have updated:

Click OK in the message box.
13. In ftSMC, monitor the value of the OpState:State property as it transitions to the
following values:
Diagnostics
Initializing
Simplex
The system supplies power to the CPU enclosure or element, runs diagnostics on
it, and synchronizes its CPU with the online CPU. It then turns off power to the other
CPU enclosure or enclosures.
14. Right-click an offline ftServer CPU Enclosure node (for example, CPU
Enclosure - 1 or CPU Enclosure - 2), and click InitiateBringup.
The following message appears, indicating that the system is starting to bring the
enclosure or element online:
The operation completed successfully.
Click OK in the message box.
15. In ftSMC, monitor the value of the OpState:State property as it transitions to the
following values:
Diagnostics
Firmware Update
Diagnostics
Initializing
Duplex
The system turns on power to the CPU enclosure or element, runs diagnostics on
it, and updates the BIOS if it is different from the online CPU. The system then runs
diagnostics on the enclosure again and resynchronizes this CPU.
16. Check that the firmware version for the BIOS shows the new version number.
