Performing the Express5800/320Ma Software Upgrade

1. Do one of the following:
•
Browse to a local network share that contains the contents of the
Express5800/320Ma ExpressBuilder CD (1 of 2). Open the bin folder and
double-click Setup.hta.
•
Insert the Express5800/320Ma ExpressBuilder CD (1 of 2) into the CD-ROM
drive that is located in the enclosure whose power button LED is green-lit.
2. Express5800/320Ma Software Upgrade automatically runs.
If Express5800/320Ma Upgrade does not automatically run when you insert the
CD, on the Windows task bar, click Start and then Run. Substituting the drive letter
of your CD-ROM drive for D, type the following command:
D:\bin\setup.hta
N O T E S
1. To perform this procedure on a local computer, you
must be a member of the Backup Operators group or
Administrators group on the local computer, or you
must have been delegated the appropriate authority.
To perform this procedure remotely, you must be a
member of the Backup Operators group or
Administrators group on the remote computer. If the
computer is joined to a domain, members of the
Domain Admins group might be able to perform this
procedure. As a security best practice, consider using
Run as to perform this procedure.
2. When you break a mirrored volume, the two volume
copies that made up the mirrored volume become two
independent simple volumes. These volumes are no
longer fault tolerant.
N O T E S
1. If, at any point during the upgrade procedure, a dialog
box appears with the message The Target file
exists and is newer than the source, click
Yes.
2. During the upgrade procedure, the Progress dialog
boxes may obscure other dialog boxes. If the upgrade
procedure appears stalled, move the dialog box and
