9-54 Upgrading Your Server
Installing RAID Controller
Take the following steps to install the optional RAID controller in the RAID Controller slot.

See page 9-4 to prepare.
2.
Pull out the server from the rack (as described on page 9-4).
3.
Remove the top cover (as described on page 9-24).
4.
Remove the screws holding the riser card in place.
5.
Remove the riser card.
IMPORTANT:
any other components.
6.
Remove the two screws from the bracket, and then remove the bracket.
