9-60 Upgrading Your Server
Installing Additional Battery for RAID Controller
Take the following steps to install an additional battery for RAID controller.
2.5-inch disk model
1.
See page 9-4 to prepare.
2.
Pull out the server from the rack (as described on page 9-4).
3.
Remove the top cover (as described on page 9-24).
4.
Remove the riser card.
IMPORTANT:
any other components.
5.
Disconnect cables from the RAID controller.
6.
Remove screws from the RAID controller, and then remove the RAID controller.
