Program 10-5 Overview

The following options are available on a system-wide basis.

LED 10: Music On Hold Source

ON provides the Music On Hold source to be provided by either the system supplied
internal or the customer supplied external source fed through the TMAU2. OFF will provide
an intermittent electronic 'beep' tone to the caller whenever they are placed on hold.

LED 7: Extension Number Included as the CLI Information

The ability for the extension number to be included as part of the set up message for all out-
going calls on ISDN circuits (ie extension to trunk, trunk to trunk (DISA, CF-EXT etc) only).

LED 6: ISDN TE CLI IE Ignored by DK40 CTU software

If the LED is set to "ON" any call attempt from an ISDN TE sending different CLI informa-
tion to the DK40 ISDN NT port number that the call is established on, will be successful. If
the LED is set to "OFF" the call will be rejected if the ISDN NT port number does not match
the ISDN TE CLI data sent.

LED 5: Intercom Priority

ON enables an internal call presented to a station already ringing with an external call to
take priority. The external call will continue to wait or indicate (if line LED's are assigned).
If disabled, (LED OFF) the internal caller will receive busy tone if they attempt to call the
station already ringing with an external call.

LED 4: Privacy On Transferred TIE Line Calls Enabled

If disabled (LED OFF), once a call has been transferred over a TIE Line, if the party that
transferred the call has the TIE Line showing under one of their flexible buttons, the button
will continue to flash for as long as the call is in progress. This option allows them to re-enter
the conversation. If enabled (LED ON) the flexible button showing the key will be solidly lit,
thus preventing them from re-entering the conversation.

LED 3: Toll Restriction Night Enabled

This option defines whether the system is equipped for a different pre-programmed level
of Toll Restriction when Night Service is invoked. If not enabled the Day Service Toll
Restriction
system, the relevant Tenant Night Transfer (NT) buttons will govern when the extensions that
belong to the individual Tenant groups will change to Night Mode Toll Restriction. Night
Mode Toll Restriction is assigned to each port in

LED 2: Trunk to Trunk Conference Prohibit

The ability to prevent the connection of an exchange line to another exchange line.

LED 1: 15 Second Timer Enabled

If this timer is not enabled, the user will find that having seized an exchange line and not
dialling any digits within the first 15 seconds, the DK40 will automatically disconnect the
line. (Only applicable to lines connected to the TCOU/PCOU PCB.)
