Installation of this unit
Installing of the Control Unit/Writer Unit
Install the Control Unit or the Writer Unit into the
Extension Unit by following the procedure below.
≥ Depending on the system configuration or installation
location, this step must be performed with both hands at an
elevated height. Ensure that the work area is safe and be
careful not to stumble over objects or fall from the area.

Insert the Control Unit or the Writer Unit into
the interface side of the Extension Unit.
[Control Unit]
Hold the upper handle, and push the Control Unit in.
[Writer Unit]
Hold the upper handles with both hands, and push the
Writer Unit in until the lines indicated by the red arrows
are hidden.

Push the Control Unit or the Writer Unit all the
way inside.
≥ Lightly push the
portion all the way inside.

Tighten the four thumbscrews.
≥ Loosely fasten all four thumbscrews, and after
determining the position, tighten securely.
≥ Rotate the thumbscrew while pushing it.
