Possible cause
ID parameter out of range
1SFC132081M0201
Solution
Cycle the control power (power off and then power
on), this will "restart" the Softstarter.
If you get Invalid ID after every power off, then the
parameters are not set correctly before the Softstarter
is power off.
The Invalid ID problem cannot be solved by just
restoring the ID parameter. The valid range for the
Motor rated current Ie parameters are different for
different PSTX sizes. So after setting the ID parameter,
all Ie parameters must also be set before powering
off the Softstarter. Otherwise any of the Ie parameters
might be out of range and such cases result in Invalid
ID fault on next power on.
The reason why we have several Ie parameters is
because of the sequence start function.
Procedure on how to restore the ID parameter
1. Set Softstarter ID (parameter 28.01)
2. Set Motor rated current Ie (parameter 01.01)
3. Set Ie seq 1 (parameter 08.02)
4. Set Ie seq 2 (parameter 08.30)
5. Set Ie seq 3 (parameter 08.60)
6. Reset the Invalid ID fault
7. Power off the control supply voltage. On next
power on you won't get the Invalid ID fault.
Alternative procedure (Instead of setting all Ie
parameters manually which can take some time)
1. Set Softstarter ID (parameter 28.01)
2. Reset all parameters to default values (Settings-
>Reset to defaults->Reset all parameters). All
parameters except the ID parameter are reset.
3. Reset the Invalid ID fault
4. Power off the control supply voltage
