8.3.4
Absolute dimension for rotary axes (DC, ACP, ACN)
Function
The non-modal and G90/G91-independent commands DC, ACP and ACN are available for the
positioning of rotary axes in absolute dimensions.
DC, ACP and ACN differ in the basic approach strategy:
Syntax
<rotary axis>=DC(<value>)
<rotary axis>=ACP(<value>)
<rotary axis>=ACN(<value>)
Significance
<rotary axis>: Identifier of the rotary axis that is to be traversed (e.g. A, B or C)
DC:
ACP:
ACN:
<value>:

Command for the direct approach to the position
The rotary axis approaches the programmed position directly on the
shortest path. The rotary axis traverses a maximum range of 180°.
Command to approach the position in a positive direction
The rotary axis traverses to the programmed position in the positive
direction of axis rotation (counterclockwise).
Command to approach the position in a negative direction
The rotary axis traverses to the programmed position in the negative
direction of axis rotation (clockwise).
Rotary axis position to be approached in absolute dimensions
Range of values: 0 - 360 degrees
