Before perform ng electr cal work, read these regulat ons
1. All w r ng must comply w th local and nat onal electr cal codes, and must be nstalled by
a l censed electr c an.
2. All electr cal connect ons must be made accord ng to the Electr cal Connect on D agram
located on the panels of the ndoor and outdoor un ts.
3. If there s a ser ous safety ssue w th the power supply, stop work mmed ately. Expla n
your reason ng to the cl ent, and refuse to nstall the un t unt l the safety ssue s
properly resolved.
4. Power voltage should be w th n 90-100% of rated voltage. Insuff c ent power supply
can cause malfunct on, electr cal shock, or f re.
5. If connect ng power to f xed w r ng, nstall a surge protector and ma n power sw tch

w th a capac ty of 1.5 t mes the max mum current of the un t.
6. If connect ng power to f xed w r ng, a sw tch or c rcu t breaker that d sconnects all
poles and has a contact separat on of at least 1/8 n (3mm) must be ncorporated n the
f xed w r ng. The qual f ed techn c an must use an approved c rcu t breaker or sw tch.
7. Only connect the un t to an nd v dual branch c rcu t outlet. Do not connect another
appl ance to that outlet.
8. Make sure to properly ground the a r cond t oner.
9. Every w re must be f rmly connected. Loose w r ng can cause the term nal to overheat,
result ng n product malfunct on and poss ble f re.
10. Do not let w res touch or rest aga nst refr gerant tub ng, the compressor, or any
mov ng parts w th n the un t.
11. If the un t has an aux l ary electr c heater, t must be nstalled at least 1 meter (40 n)
away from any combust ble mater als.

The s gnal cable enables commun cat on between the ndoor and outdoor un ts. You must f rst choose
the r ght cable s ze before prepar ng t for connect on.
