6 Outdoor un t nstallat on
If the dra n jo nt doesn't come w th a rubber seal (see F g. 6.4 - B), do the follow ng:
1. Insert the dra n jo nt nto the hole n the base pan of the un t. The dra n jo nt w ll cl ck n place.
2. Connect a dra n hose extens on (not ncluded) to the dra n jo nt to red rect water from the un t
dur ng heat ng mode.
In cold cl mates

In cold cl mates, make sure that the dra n hose s as vert cal as poss ble to ensure sw ft
water dra nage. If water dra ns too slowly, t can freeze n the hose and flood the un t.
Step 3: Anchor outdoor un t
The outdoor un t can be anchored to the ground or to a wall-mounted bracket.
