Step 2: Remove burrs
Burrs can affect the a r-t ght seal of refr gerant p p ng connect on. They must be completely removed.
1. Hold the p pe at a downward angle to prevent burrs from fall ng nto the p pe.
2. Us ng a reamer or deburr ng tool, remove all burrs from the cut sect on of the p pe.
Step 3: Flare p pe ends
Proper flar ng s essent al to ach eve an a rt ght seal.
1. After remov ng burrs from cut p pe, seal the ends w th PVC tape to prevent fore gn mater als from
enter ng the p pe.
2. Sheath the p pe w th nsulat ng mater al.
