Mail Alert

The Mail Alert menu appears when you select Mail Alert on BMC Configuration menu.
The table below shows details of parameters and their default value.

Mail Alert menu
Description
Enable or disable Mail Alert.
Specify the timeout period until when the connection to
SMTP server succeed by E-mail transmission.

Select Enable/Disable of To:1.
Specify the mail address of To:1.

Select Enable/Disable of To:2.
Specify the mail address of To:2.

Select Enable/Disable of To:3.
Specify the mail address of To:3.
Specify the mail address of From.
Specify the mail address of Reply-To.

Specify the Subject.
Enable or disable the feature to add Subject Option.
Enable or disable the feature to add X-Priority, and select date
format.

Specify the SMTP Server.
Specify the SMTP port number.
Select Enable/Disable of SMTP Authentication.
Select Enable/Disable of CRAM-MD5.
Select Enable/Disable of LOGIN authentication.
Select Enable/Disable of PLAIN authentication.
Specify the SMTP User Name.
Specify the SMTP User Password.
Specify the kind of event to alert.
Error
: When "Error" is detected in each sensor type, the
alert is sent to the checked address.
Error, Warning
: When "Error" or "Warning" is detected in each sensor
type, the alert is sent to the checked address.
Error, Warning, Information
: When "Error", "Warning" or "Information" is detected
in each sensor type, the alert is sent to the checked
address.
