Figure 9-18 Removing a supply fan drive
Step 4 Insert the new fan drive into the corresponding slot in the power distribution
subrack, and push the latch to lock the fan drive.
Step 5 Reinstall the sheet metal to the front of the fan drive.
Step 6 Close the maintenance door.
Step 7 Power on the device, and choose Maint > Wizard Startup on the home screen.
Start the fan and check that the fan works properly and the smart cooling product
generates no alarms. Check that it works properly before you exit.

The float needs to be maintained from the water pan position.

A float needs to be replaced.
A spare float of the same model is available and functional.
