2.1.1. INSTALLATION – SALT STORAGE SKID
Position the skid taking the requirements given below into account:
•
Easily accessible and salt refill position;
•
Flat and stable position;
•
Maximum distance from softeners equal to 2 metres positioned on the same support surface as the
latter;
•
Make sure the connection hose pipes are not overstretched or crushed and can move freely;
•
Loosen the nuts without removing the fitting completely and push the pipe right in
Tighten the nuts by hand; do not use tools. If you have any doubts, check the assembly sequence of the cone and
contra cone.
Connect the gravity drain manifold to suitable tank;
Wire the general electrical control panel (see wiring diagram).
