5.2. HOT WATER PART

Problem: THE SOFTENER IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY REGENERATING
Cause
Power interrupted or power
source switched off.
Faulty motor
Faulty controller
Incorrect programming
Problem: THE SOFTENER IS SUPPLYING HARD WATER
Cause
No salt in the brine skid
Inner valve leak
Problem: RESIN LEAK THROUGH DRAIN PIPE
Cause
Upper distributor missing
and/or damaged
Air in the hydraulic system
Problem: THE SOFTENER DOES NOT EXTRACT THE BRINE
Cause
The flow controller on the drain
is clogged
Clogged injector and/or filter
Low water pressure
Inner valve leak
The control head is nor working
correctly
Problem: THE CONTROLLER RUNS CONTINUAL CYCLES
Cause
The control head is nor working
correctly
Faulty micro switch or wiring
Faulty or incorrectly assembled
service camshaft
Problem: LOAD RUNNING CONSTANTLY
Reset the controller and connect a constant power supply.
Replace the motor
Replace the controller
Program correctly
Check the brine skid
Replace the seal and spacer and/or piston unit
Install or replace the upper distributor
Make sure the air check system is present in the brine tank.
Clean the flow controller on the drain
Clean or replace the injector and/or filter
Increase the inlet pressure to a minimum of 1.8 bar
Replace the seal and spacer and/or piston unit
Replace the control head
Replace the control head
Replace the micro switch or wiring
Reposition or replace the service camshaft
