5. TROUBLESHOOTING

Before running the checks listed in the event of operating faults, do the following:
-
Make sure that the inlet valve is open;
-
Make sure that the supply pressure is within the specified ranges;
-
Make sure that the power socket is adequate;
-
Make sure the thermal protection is armed;
-
Make sure that no hose pipes are crushed or bent.

5.1. COLD WATER PART

5.1.1. TROUBLESHOOTING THE VALVE

Problem:
HARD WATER DURING SERVICE
Cause
Air sucked into the connection
pipe to the brine tank
Check to see if the drain is
blocked
Insufficient supply pressure
Drainage pipe blocked
Injector blocked
Clapet check valves 2 or 3 are
blocked in the open position
Salt level in vats.

5.1.2. TIMER TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem:
ERR 3 ON DISPLAY
Cause
The timer does not know the
position of the camshaft.
Contact the support centre
Solution
Turn the timer to positions C2 and check that no air bubbles appear. If they
do, check that the connector on the softener and corresponding salt tank
are tightened.
Clean the drain control.
Make sure it is at least 1.4 bar. Check during production.
Make sure the drain is clear.
Clean the injector.
Clean the drain control.
Check the salt level in the two relevant vats.
The alarm is displayed continuously for over 3 minutes. Contact the
support centre.
Check the interconnections of the optical sensor and make sure it is intact.
