6. DISPOSAL OF CONSUMABLES AND MACHINE

The used filters are considered non-hazardous solid waste to be disposed of with code EWC
19.09.04 (active carbon) and the membranes with code EWC 15.02.03.
At the end of its life, the machine must be disposed of at an authorised dismantling and
disposal centre (EWC 20.01.36).
WASTE COLLECTION OF ELECTRIC/ELECTRONIC MATERIAL
(I) According to art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 151 of 25 July 2005,
"Implementation of Directives 2002/95 / EC, 2002/96 / EC and 2003/108 / EC,
concerning the reduction of the use of dangerous substances in electrical and
electronic equipment, as well as waste disposal.
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol indicated on the equipment or packaging
indicates that the product at the end of its useful life must be collected separately
from other waste.
The user must, therefore, take the equipment, at the end of its life, to the appropriate centres for the
separate collection of electronic and electro-technical waste, or return it to the dealer when purchasing a
new machine of the same type, on a one-for-one exchange basis.
Suitable separate collection for subsequent recycling, processing and environmentally-friendly disposal
of the decommissioned machine helps to avoid negative effects on the environment and health and
encourages the re-use and/or recycling of the material of which the machine is made.
Unauthorised disposal of the product by the user will result in the application of the administrative fines
envisaged by current legislation.
