3.4. ROUTINE CHECK PLAN
3.4.1. PREVENTIVE CHECKS
A series of visual and operational inspections aimed at checking the correct operation and performance of the
skid.
The preventive checks allow the components, subject to consumption or wear, to be identified through preventive
checks and replaced as indicated in the following paragraphs and in the section entitled Error! Reference source
not found.. "MAINTENANCE OF MAIN COMPONENTS".
The checks are:
COLD WATER SOFTENERS (double column duplex alternator)
air check ball position
corresponding salt tank levels
hardness of water produced
hardness of untreated water and supply pressure
to pinpoint the area which created the problem, refer to the troubleshooting section, etc.
HOT WATER SOFTENERS
corresponding salt tank level
hardness of water produced
hardness of untreated water and supply pressure
to pinpoint the area which created the problem, refer to the troubleshooting section, etc.
SALT STORAGE SKID
Salt alarm indicator continuously lit.
Constant salt level (refilling never required).
The operations indicated below must be carried out periodically, using only original spare
parts and the maintenance work must be documented in the appropriate space in the
maintenance log.
