Note
The routing of the PROFIsafe telegrams of a higher-level F-CPU (e.g. CPU 1518F-4 PN/DP) to
the SINAMICS Integrated is not supported.
Support of PROFIsafe V2
The PROFINET IO interfaces X150 and X160 support PROFIsafe V2.
Network disconnector according to IEC61784-3-3 (PROFIsafe standard)
CPU 1504D TF and CPU 1507D TF provide network disconnection between the X150, X160
and X130 interfaces according to IEC61784-3-3.
The following behavior applies to these F-CPUs with regard to communication network
disconnectors:
• There is an absolute network disconnection between the interfaces X150, X160 and X130
when no bridging is implemented on communication level 2.
• There is no network disconnection if the connection is established via ports of the same
interface (with X150 interface: P1R, P2R and P3 ports).
Even when using a communication network disconnector according to IEC 61784-3-3-3
(PROFIsafe standard), you must still ensure that the individual disconnected networks are not
connected by other standard components.
You can find more information in this FAQ
(https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109740240).
Standard CPUs are generally not network disconnectors according to IEC61784-3-3-3
(PROFIsafe standard).

Effects of the installation altitude on the availability
Observe the maximum installation altitude of the components used. Additional information
can be found in the section Mechanical and climatic environmental conditions (Page 354).
The higher cosmic radiation present during operation at altitudes above 2000 m will also
start to have an effect on the failure rate of electronic components (the so-called soft error
rate). In rare cases, this may result in particular in a transition of the F-CPU into the safe state.
However, the functional safety of the F-CPU remains fully intact.
