The following figure shows an example of the available and activated function rights of a
CPU. At least one user must have full access to the CPU, otherwise the configuration will not
be compiled. To do this, a role with full access to the CPU must first be created.

Requirement
CPU parameterization: To be able to use users, roles and function rights for a CPU, the "Enable
access control" option in the "Protection & Security > Access control" tab must be checked.
No project protection is required for local user management.
Default characteristics
The "Activate access control" option is preset for the access control. Users, with their assigned
passwords as well as their roles and function rights, can be parameterized.
