Configuring Network Setup

The following network information is required to configure the network setup.

Host name or IP address
Domain name
Primary DNS IP address
Secondary DNS IP address
TCP/IP
Minimum required to provide access to Web administration
console and Maintenance menu (PuTTY).

Use the following procedure to specify the network setup.

Specifying the Network Setup

The IP address for the voice mail is assigned in chassis programming 10-55-xx.
At default this address is 172.16.1.xxx, where .xxx will vary depending upon
which slot the CD-VM00 was installed. Starting with slot 1 this will be .100, slot
2 will be .101, slot 5 will be .104 and so on.
The DNS server IP Address, Host Name and Domain Name are all that can be
configured from the Maintenance Menu.
To specify the setup:
1. Start PuTTY.
The login prompt appears.
2. Type admin
<ENTER>
3. Type the password: voicemail <ENTER>
The Main menu appears.
