Problem
The quality of the display is not
good.
The power on/off switch on the
patient monitor does not
illuminate when it is toggled.
Continuous beeping alarm and
alarm light flashing yellow.
Touchscreen
Problem
Touchscreen operation
inaccurate.
Touchscreen inoperative.

Possible cause
The cable is not connected
properly.
The video display is bad.
The power supply is bad.
Mains supply is lost or the USB
cable is disconnected.
Possible cause
Touchscreen not calibrated.
Touchscreen USB cable loose
Touchscreen USB cable
connected to the wrong USB
connector in the monitor.
Faulty touchscreen sensor.
Recommended actions
1. Check the connection between the
video display and the patient monitor.
If necessary, replace the video display
with a known good one.
2. If the problem is not corrected, replace
the processor board.
Replace the power supply.
Restore the mains supply or reconnect the
USB cable.
Recommended actions
Calibrate touchscreen, see section 7.1.2.
Connect the USB touchscreen cable to the
CPU unit or to the display.
NOTE: Secure the connected USB cable to
the CPU unit. Use the existing retaining
clips attached to the CPU unit.
Connect the touchscreen USB cable to the
correct connector.
Replace the display.
