PROFINET: Definition is via an array [1..24] with one element of type "Structure".
PROFIBUS: Definition is via an array [1..12] with one element of type "Structure".
This comprises two elements of type "Byte" and one element of type "Word".
The POM number corresponds to the array index.
The length of the data set corresponds to the number of POMs that are used.

CIM with I/O module is always available, even if the I/O module is not plugged in.
