A.1.1 Certificates and approvals

The specified approvals apply only when the corresponding mark is printed on the product.
You can check which of the following approvals have been granted for your product by the
markings on the type plate.
EC directives
SIPLUS HCS4200 products conform to the requirements and safety objectives of the EC
Directives listed below.
Low-voltage directive
SIPLUS HCS4200 products meet the requirements of the EC Directive:
2006/95/EC "Electrical Safety". The product is designed in accordance with EN 50178.
EMC directive (electromagnetic compatibility)
SIPLUS HCS4200 products meet the requirements of the EC Directive:
2004/108/EC "Electromagnetic Compatibility"
The product is designed for operation in industrial areas with the following requirements:
● Interference emission according to EN 61000-6-4
● Noise immunity according to EN 61000-6-2
Note for the manufacturers of machines
This product is not a machine in the sense of the EC Machinery Directive. There is therefore
no declaration of conformity relating to the EC Machinery Directive 89/392/EEC for this
product.
