3.2.9 Connecting Ground Cables




Procedure
Step 1 Connect a ground cable to the UPS5000-E.


The number and colors of signal cables shown in
Before connecting cables, ensure that the upstream input switches for all the UPSs are
OFF.
Determine the actual number of ground cables based on
requirements. The following figure is for reference only.
Prepare OT terminals onsite. Strip the cable to expose the copper wire, which should be as
long as the part where the OT terminal is secured with the cable.
The ground cable connection method is the same for the UPS5000-E-120K-F120,
UPS5000-E-200K-F200, and UPS5000-E-320K-F320. Grounding for the
UPS5000-E-200K-F200 is used as example, which is shown in
