While Speaking with
Other Person
You cannot hear other person's voice
(1) Isn't the sound from the speaker too low?
Adjust the volume of the sound from the
speaker.
(2) Isn't your handset removed from USB port on
your PC? If so, connect it firmly.
(3) If it is not restored even after the above mea-
sures, contact your system administrator.
Other person cannot hear your voice
(1) Isn't Mute button clicked? Click Mute button
again.
Transmission volume is too low or is not
be heard by other person While USB
handset is in use
(1) Remove and reconnect USB handset after ter-
minating Softphone. If it is not restored by one
removing & reconnecting, repeat this operation.
Other person's voice is heard from PC
speaker, not from USB handset
(1) After terminating Softphone, restart your PC.
(2) If it is not restored even after the above mea-
sures, contact your system administrator.
You failed to make a call to an outside
line
(1) Aren't you using the system where an additional
number such as '0' is added to the front of the
other person's phone number to make a call? In
this case, you need to make either of the follow-
ing operations:
• Enter other person's phone number after
entering an additional number such as '0'.
• In the case of copying, or drags & drops the
phone number to make a call, set an addi-
tional number to 'Call' in 'Configuration'.
For details, refer to "Setting Used to Make a
Call by Copying or Drags & Drops a Phone
Number".
(2) If you cannot make a call to the outside line
after the above measures, contact your system
administrator.
Your PC froze during call
(1) The call is cut. Restart your PC and redial the
call.
(2) If the operation is abnormal at the next starting,
contact your system administrator.
Other person's voice is heard a little later
(1) There is no problem in the specification of Soft-
phone.
You failed to answer the held call again
(1) When you hold a call by pressing Hold button
twice (exclusive hold), you can answer the call
only by the phone you held.
You tried to forward the call to a person
near you, you failed to answer on the
person's phone.
(1) Didn't you press Hold button twice? If you
pressed Hold button twice (exclusive hold), you
can answer the call only by the phone you held.
Volume display is blinking in yellow or
red
(1) Isn't your PC heavily loaded? Terminate some
of your applications.
(2) Isn't the network heavily loaded? Contact your
network administrator.
When Using PHS as a
Receiver
* This requires the system environment where optional
PHS is available and the setting on the PBX.
You cannot use PHS as a receiver
(1) Setting on the PBX is required. For details, con-
tact your system administrator.
(2) Isn't your PHS located in the place without ser-
vice? Try moving to the place with service.
What will happen when your PHS is
located in the place without service:
(1) It will operate as set in advance on the PBX.
Ex. Announces the person that the place is
without service / transfers the call to the
specified number etc.
For details, contact your system adminis-
trator.
