UPLEX RINTING
You can print double-sided from any paper tray or cassette.
For duplex printing from the Multipurpose Tray load the first
sheet face down with the top of the sheet facing you (A). For
all other cassettes, load the first sheet facing up with the top
facing toward the printer. Set up duplex printing from the
printer driver or from the Operator Panel.
Follow these steps to set up the printer from the printer
driver:
1. From the Properties dialog box choose the Finishing
tab (B).
2. In the duplex area of the Paper tab select Long or Short
edge. Choose Long Edge if you want the binding
orientation along the left edge of the paper as in a
magazine. Choose Short Edge if you want the binding
orientation along the top edge of the paper as in a
calendar. Click on the OK button.

For duplex printing from the
Multipurpose Tray (Tray 1) load the first sheet face
down. The top of the sheet must be toward you.
