Using the Menu Tree

You can use the Operator Panel to set communications
channels, print forms or pages, view usage reports, use
special features, or change printer settings. (However, in
most cases, you will use your printer drivers to change
printer settings.) Follow these basic steps to enter menu
mode and navigate through the menu tree
Turn on the printer, if necessary.
Take the printer offline by pressing the Go button.

For second level choices use the Item button, then the
Value (- +) button to cycle through the values for each
item.
Press the Select button to save your selection.
Select/Cancel

Selects LETTER as the default paper size for
the Cassette Tray.
Selects LEGAL as the default paper size for
the Cassette Tray.
Selects FOLIO as the default paper size for
the Cassette Tray.
Selects 300 as the default print resolution.
Selects 600 as the default print resolution.
Printer selects emulation type for printing.
Selects PCL as the default emulation.
