Duplex Paper Jam in the Input Tray Area

Some duplex jams happen before the paper makes it to the
duplexing unit in the back of the printer. When this happens
the Operator Panel will display
jam usually occurs when paper is being fed from the 500-
sheet Cassette (Tray 2).
1. Pull the cassette tray out of the printer (A).

2. Pull down the metal plate inside the tray slot then pull
out the jammed paper, using both hands as shown (B).
3. Insert the cassette tray (C).
4. Open the Top Cover (D).
5. Close the Top Cover to clear the jam message (E).
