(1) Do not remove the CF card while the command is being executed.
Example (from the local console)
Formats the CF card.
$ cfformat
administrator password:
*** Don't eject CF card. ***
Format completed.
$
Do not remove the CF card while it is being formatted.
When the CF card is not mounted, the following is displayed.
$ cfformat
administrator password:
can not CF mount.
$
Formats the CF card in FAT16 (MS-DOS).
